New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki will soon launch an updated version of its popular SUV, the Brezza, in the Indian market. This updated Brezza is expected to feature design, features, and technical changes, making it more competitive in its segment.

Exterior Changes

The basic design of the new Brezza will remain the same as the previous version, but changes are expected to be seen in the front and rear. The car may also receive a new bumper, a more attractive grille, and minor updates to the rear. Although it will not feature connected tail lamps this time, the overall look will appear more premium.

Interior and Features

The interior layout will remain unchanged, but the center console and seating have been improved. The updated Brezza is expected to feature a larger touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Features like connected car technology, wireless charging, a head-up display, cruise control, automatic AC, ambient lights, and a single-panel sunroof are also expected.

Ventilated Seats and Comfortable Ride

The new Brezza is expected to feature ventilated front seats, providing improved passenger comfort even in the summer. This feature is also available in the Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, and other rivals, making the Brezza more competitive.

Powertrain and Engine Updates

The engine is unlikely to undergo major changes. The new Brezza will be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine, mated to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic. Recent testing has indicated a 6-speed manual transmission may also be available. Some reports also suggest a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine, but this has not yet been confirmed.

New Underbody Tank and Boot Space

One of the biggest changes is the Inspire underbody tank beneath the boot. The old boot tank will be removed and relocated under the body, providing better boot space for the SUV's CNG variant and improving both style and functionality.

The new Maruti Brezza is expected to become even more popular among customers in the Indian SUV market. Its updated features, premium looks, and improved comfort will set it apart from its competitors.
