Gopal Mandal alleged that some senior party leaders were conspiring against him. He said my own opponent is in contact with Ajay Mandal, also known as Bulo Mandal. Preparations are underway to cancel my ticket.

During the protest, his supporters raised loud slogans and voiced support for Gopal Mandal. This development has caused turmoil within the JDU. According to sources, many current MLAs are unhappy with the ticket distribution. The party is preparing to field new faces in some seats, causing unease among older leaders.
