On the opposition opposing this bill and calling it unconstitutional, Shah said that the government has adopted a democratic and inclusive approach by sending it to the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC).
The JPC is a transparent process where all parties will get full opportunity to put forth their views. He urged the opposition to participate in the process but also made it clear that if the opposition boycotts the JPC, the government will have no choice but to proceed based on the committee's findings.
Shah also mentioned that he himself had set a high standard by resigning when he was the home minister in Gujarat. He believes that this bill will develop a new culture of ethics and accountability in the country.
Finally, he called upon the opposition to rise above political differences and cooperate on this important bill in the national interest. Stay tuned to Dynamite News for further updates.
