Prices Reviewed on the First of Every Month

State-owned petroleum companies review LPG cylinder prices on the first of every month. The price of 19-kg commercial cylinders was last increased in January 2026. In November and December last year, reductions of ₹5 and ₹10 were made, respectively. This increase is also a result of this monthly review.

Impact on Businesses

The increase in commercial cylinder prices is likely to increase costs for businesses such as hotels, restaurants, and dhabas. However, there are no changes for domestic users, which will protect the average consumer from the volatility.
