New Delhi: A major development has surfaced in the case involving Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati, as authorities indicate that his arrest is likely if the medical examination report confirms allegations of sexual abuse.
The legal troubles of Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati appear to be deepening. If the medical report confirms allegations of rape, the High Court may refuse to grant him relief. In that scenario, police could arrest him at any time, potentially leading to his imprisonment.
Ashutosh Brahmachari’s Big Claims
Ashutosh Brahmachari, who has levelled serious allegations against the seer, claimed that the medical examination has confirmed sexual abuse of minor children. He further alleged that the minors have named another accused, Arvind.
According to Brahmachari, Arvind is associated with the ashram and is a “guru brother” of Avimukteshwarananda. He is also said to be linked to Mukundanand. Brahmachari alleged that Arvind played a role in bringing the children to the ashram.

‘Solid Evidence’ Against the Seer
Ashutosh Brahmachari asserted that he possesses strong and concrete evidence against Swami Avimukteshwarananda, which he believes will ensure conviction in court. He expressed satisfaction with the ongoing police investigation, stating that it is moving in the right direction.
He also claimed that the number of victims in the case could be around 20.
“Punishment is Certain”
Responding to Avimukteshwarananda’s statement expressing distrust in the Uttar Pradesh Police investigation and his demand for a probe by police from another state, Brahmachari said that any agency could investigate the matter.

He added that the evidence against the seer is so strong that punishment is inevitable, regardless of which police force conducts the investigation.
