New Delhi: A man has committed suicide by shooting himself at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.

Police arrived at Jantar Mantar immediately after receiving news of the incident and the investigation revealed the cause.

However, the deceased has not yet been identified, and the reason for his suicide is unknown.

The Delhi Police stated, "A man committed suicide by shooting himself at Jantar Mantar. Police are on scene. The identity of the deceased has not yet been established. The case is under investigation and further information is awaited."

On Monday, Faridabad Police Commissioner Satendra Gupta stated in a press conference that the investigation had been ongoing for several days, and the arrests were made in a joint operation 10 days ago. A total of two terrorists were apprehended, one by the Faridabad Police and the other by the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The Police Commissioner denied the presence of RDX or AK-47 or AK-56 rifles. He stated that the operation is still ongoing and cannot be disclosed due to national security concerns. He added that the landlord of the rented apartment is also being questioned.

It is reported that on Sunday morning, 10-12 police vehicles arrived in front of a room where the terrorist was in police custody. Following his information, the police recovered 14 bags, which appeared to be quite heavy. The terrorist had rented the room a few days ago and had told the owner that only his belongings would be kept in the room.

A new twist has emerged in the case of terrorist Muzammil, who was arrested 10 days ago from Alfalah University College in Faridabad district, Haryana. Terrorist Muzammil is also linked to a female doctor. Investigations revealed that the car Muzammil drove belonged to this female doctor.

It is reported that after the vehicle number was revealed, the female doctor herself approached the Jammu Police. The Jammu and Kashmir Police is interrogating the female doctor.

Terrorist Muzammil lived on rent in a house on Fatehpur Taga Road. On Monday, following his information, police recovered 360 kg of a chemical substance, believed to be ammonium nitrate, from his room. Additionally, a cannon-copper rifle, five magazines, a pistol, and a large quantity of ammunition were recovered. Eight large suitcases, four small suitcases, a bucket, a timer with batteries, a remote, a walkie-talkie set, electric wires, and other items were recovered.
