Washington: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has added fugitive gangster Satinderjeet Singh, popularly known as Goldy Brar, to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The US agency has announced a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest.
The move marks a major escalation in the international search for Brar, who is wanted by US authorities in connection with allegations related to organised crime, extortion, targeted killings and narcotics offences.
According to the FBI, Brar has been placed on the agency’s prestigious Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, making him one of the most sought-after fugitives by US law enforcement. He is the 543rd fugitive to be included on the list since its creation in 1950.
The FBI has offered a reward of up to $1 million for credible information that helps authorities locate and arrest him.
The FBI has alleged that Brar is linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi organised crime group in North America. The agency has accused the network of involvement in activities including violence, extortion, drug trafficking and weapons-related offences across multiple regions.
US authorities have also included Brar among fugitives targeted during investigations into transnational organised crime groups.
Brar’s name has been connected with several high-profile criminal investigations in India and abroad. His inclusion on the FBI list highlights the growing cooperation between international law enforcement agencies against cross-border organised crime.
The FBI has urged people with information about his whereabouts to come forward through official channels as the search continues.
