Ghazipur: Meghalaya Police reached Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh on Monday to take Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused in Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. After meeting the SP here, the police team reached the One Stop Center directly and contacted Sonam, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Meghalaya Police has started the process of transit remand. As soon as the legal process of remand is completed, the police will leave for Patna from Ghazipur by road with Sonam.

Sonam will be taken from Patna to Guwahati by flight on Tuesday. After this, the team will reach Shillong from Guwahati, where Sonam will be produced in the court and further interrogation will be done.

Earlier, Sonam was held from a dhaba in Ghazipur. She had claimed that she was kidnapped and looted, but in the investigation of Meghalaya Police, she is being described as the main accused in the conspiracy to murder her husband Raja.

Police have also arrested Sonam's lover Raj Kushwaha and four contract killers in this case. Police said that Sonam had planned the murder along with her lover and paid the contract killer to come to Shillong, where Raja was murdered in a deserted area.

According to the police, Sonam Raghuvanshi had conspired to kill her husband along with her lover Raj Kushwaha. Investigation has revealed that Sonam had called four contract killers by paying them money to carry out this conspiracy.

The information given by the accused during interrogation is shocking. According to the police, Sonam's alleged lover Raj Kushwaha never went to Shillong. He hatched the entire conspiracy over the phone. He was constantly in touch with Sonam and kept instructing her at every step. On the instructions of Raj Kushwaha, Sonam reached Shillong and met the contract killer already present there. After this the entire plan was executed.

Police investigation has also revealed that the murder was done in a completely planned manner, in which every aspect was carefully decided. At present, Sonam is in the custody of Uttar Pradesh Police and will soon be handed over to Meghalaya Police on transit remand.
