Advance Bookings Open for Dhurandhar 2
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge have officially opened across theatres in India. The announcement was made by lead actor Ranveer Singh on social media, where he urged fans to begin booking tickets for the upcoming release.
Earlier, limited bookings had opened for special premiere shows scheduled for March 18. However, full-fledged bookings started on Saturday morning, covering theatres nationwide. The film is scheduled to release worldwide on March 19 and will coincide with festivals including Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid.
According to early trade estimates from Sacnilk, paid premiere bookings had already crossed ₹27 crore by Saturday afternoon. Industry observers believe the numbers could rise further now that nationwide bookings are fully open.
The film is releasing not only in Hindi but also in several South Indian languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. This wider release strategy is expected to help boost its opening-day box office collection.
Dhurandhar, the first instalment released in December 2025, was a major commercial success and reportedly crossed ₹1,000 crore in India. The film earned ₹28 crore on its opening day when it was released exclusively in Hindi. The sequel continues the story of the character Hamza Ali Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, portrayed by Ranveer Singh.

The film is directed by Aditya Dhar and features a large ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt. Actress Sara Arjun also returns in the sequel.
Trade analysts say the film currently faces limited competition at the box office, which could further strengthen its opening weekend performance.
