Mumbai: Ranveer Singh's film "Dhurandhar 2" continues to break new box office records. The film's earnings haven't stopped even on its seventh day of release. After a strong opening and strong weekend collections, the film is continuing its impressive weekday run.
According to SacNilk's early trend report, "Dhurandhar 2" collected ₹47.70 crore on Wednesday, the seventh day of its release. This brings the film's total net collection to ₹623.42 crore, while its gross collection in India has reached ₹744.58 crore.
The film opened with ₹145 crore (including paid previews) on its first day. It then collected ₹80.72 crore on the second day, ₹113 crore on the third day, ₹114 crore on the fourth day, ₹65 crore on the fifth day, and ₹56.60 crore on the sixth day. The film has set a new record by earning over ₹50 crore (approximately $500 million) for seven consecutive days.
'Dhurandhar 2' surpassed several major films in its first week. It surpassed the lifetime collections of Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2,' Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathan,' and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal.' It has now surpassed Vicky Kaushal's 'Chava' (₹601 crore) and its next target is to surpass 'Stree 2' (₹627 crore).
