The film and television fraternity is mourning the tragic death of Marathi actor Sachin Chandwade, best known for his appearance in the Netflix series Jamtara 2. The 25-year-old actor was found hanging in his Pune flat on October 23, 2025, and later succumbed to his injuries while under treatment in a hospital.
According to reports, Chandwade was first discovered by his family members at his residence in Parola, Jalgaon district. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Pune after being found in critical condition. When his health deteriorated further, the family decided to shift him to another hospital in Dhule, where he passed away around 1:30 am on October 24.

Sachin Chandwade was not only an emerging face in Marathi cinema but also a software engineer by profession, working at an IT park in Pune. Despite his full-time job, he pursued his lifelong passion for acting with dedication. Friends and colleagues described him as a determined and disciplined individual, someone who worked tirelessly to balance his professional commitments with his creative aspirations.
Hailing from Jalgaon, Chandwade had been actively involved in theatre and short films before earning recognition for his performance in Jamtara 2. His blend of technical skill and artistic drive made him a rare talent admired by both peers and fans.
Career on the Rise
Before his untimely demise, Sachin was gearing up for the release of his next Marathi film titled “Asurvan,” which was reportedly close to its premiere. His growing body of work had begun to attract attention from both Marathi and Hindi entertainment circles, positioning him as a promising young actor with a bright future ahead.
