Kota Horror: 10-year-old actor Veer Sharma and brother die in tragic house fire

Kota: A horrific accident shocked everyone in Kota on Sunday. A fire suddenly broke out in flat number B-403 of Deep Shri Apartments in Transport Nagar. TV actor Veer Sharma (10) and his elder brother Shaurya Sharma (15) died of suffocation in the fire. Both children were sleeping in the room at the time of the accident. Upon receiving information about the incident, police and fire brigade teams arrived at the scene, but by then, both children had already breathed their last.

Children Were Alone In Home

The children's father was not at home at the time of the accident. He had gone to a Jagran program. Their mother, herself a famous actress, was in Mumbai for some work. Consequently, the two brothers were alone at home. Upon receiving information about the incident, the mother returned from Mumbai to Kota. This sudden tragedy has left everyone in the family in deep shock.

Shaurya and Veer Identified

Police reported that the deceased were identified as Shaurya Sharma and Veer Sharma. Shaurya was preparing for IIT, while Veer had played the role of Bharat in the TV serial "Srimad Ramayan." Furthermore, Veer was soon to play the role of actor Saif Ali Khan's childhood in an upcoming film. This recognition at such a young age and the hopes of a bright career ahead were now unfulfilled.

According to reports, neighbors saw smoke coming out of the flat and immediately informed the children's father. Upon opening the door, they discovered smoke had spread inside and the fire was raging rapidly. The fire brigade and police were immediately alerted. Anantpura police station, City Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam, and the FSL team arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Both bodies have been deposited in the mortuary for post-mortem.

Fire Caused By A Short Circuit

SP Tejaswini Gautam stated that the fire was caused by a short circuit. The air conditioner was on at the time and the doors and windows were closed, causing smoke to fill the room and suffocate the two children to death. The fire destroyed the air conditioner, sofa, LED TV, and other electronic equipment.

Father's Decision: Donate the Children's Eyes

The father, devastated by this tragedy, has also made a significant decision. He has expressed his desire to donate the children's eyes so that their light can brighten someone else's life. A post-mortem examination will be conducted only after the mother's return.

This tragic incident has sent a wave of grief through the entire area. Neighbors and relatives rushed to console the family. The untimely death of a budding artist and his brother has left everyone emotional.
