Mohali: Popular Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda died while undergoing treatment at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, after battling for life for nearly 12 days. The 35-year-old artist had suffered critical head and spinal injuries in a road accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, on September 27.
As per the local reports, the accident occurred in the late evening when a group of stray cattle suddenly appeared on the road, leaving Rajvir with almost no time to react. His motorcycle collided with the animals, causing him to fall and sustain life-threatening injuries. Emergency services rushed him to the hospital in critical condition, where he was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit.
Doctors at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, put Rajvir on critical care, performing intensive treatment to stabilize him. Despite the dedicated efforts of the medical team and continuous monitoring, his condition remained precarious due to the severity of the injuries. Fans, family, and colleagues anxiously waited for updates, hoping for a positive turn, but sadly, the young star could not survive the injuries.
