New Delhi: Amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia, a major attack took place in Kuwait on Monday, killing an Indian worker. The attack targeted a power and water desalination plant, bringing the death toll in the conflict to at least eight.

Kuwait government calls it "Iranian aggression"

Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity and Water, posting on social media platforms, described the attack as "Iranian aggression." A service building at the plant was also damaged. The ministry stated that technical and emergency teams were immediately dispatched to the scene to control the situation and ensure continued services.

Earlier on Thursday, an Indian citizen was killed in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. This incident occurred when a ballistic missile was intercepted mid-air, killing the Indian citizen. The Indian Embassy pledged to provide all possible assistance in this matter, working with the local administration.
