New Delhi: A new claim about Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has added another layer of mystery to the ongoing Iran-US conflict. An Iranian cleric has claimed that Mojtaba Khamenei survived two separate US-Israeli strikes, including one attack on a Tehran hospital where he was receiving treatment.
The claim has raised questions about Mojtaba’s health, his whereabouts and the circumstances surrounding his rise to Iran’s top leadership position. However, the details have come from Iranian sources and have not been independently verified.
Mohsen Heydari, a member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, claimed in an interview that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured during initial strikes in Tehran and was later taken to a hospital.
