Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Temple
It is believed that Pulastya Rishi who used to go to Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir every year. Once he could not go there and was very sad. Then Baba Amarnath (Lord Shiva) appeared in Rajpura on the banks of Pulasti river.
There is another associated story of Queen Chandrika of Loran Valley. Once due to some reasons the Queen could not go to Baba Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir and became puzzled. Then an old sadhu appeared and told the Queen that he would fulfill her wish. He asked the Queen to worship at the designated place. Queen Chandrika soon was engrossed in worship at that place.
After some time when the Queen opened her eyes she found that the old sadhu baba had disappeared into the earth. The queen then was convinced that it was none other than Baba Amarnath Ji himself in the guise of an Old Baba. That place was named Baba Budha Amarnath.
Later, when the said place was excavated, a white rock appeared. Therefore, he came to be known as Chattani Wale Baba. Now there is also a temple here where there is a Shivalinga made of white marble rock which shines like snow.
