Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad (Source: Internet)
Ahmedabad: The plane crash in Meghnagar area of Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujarat, has shaken the entire country. An Air India plane crashed during takeoff in this densely populated area near the airport, due to which many houses were damaged and an atmosphere of panic was created in the entire area. After the accident, the biggest question that is arising now is who is responsible for this accident?
Dynamite News correspondent reports, according to the preliminary investigation reports so far, technical fault in the plane is believed to be the main reason for the accident. The plane was in the process of takeoff, when a problem was reported in the engine, due to which it lost balance and fell down.
However, Air India has said that the plane had passed all the necessary technical checks and no fault was reported before take-off.
On the other hand, the Aviation Technical Team and DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) have deployed a team of experts for investigation. In the initial investigation, it is also being feared that this accident may have happened due to the negligence of ground control and technical staff or lapse in communication.
People present there and local people say that the plane was making unusual sounds immediately after takeoff, which suggests that the plane was not technically fully fit. If the pilot or technical staff had been alert in time, perhaps this accident could have been avoided.
Meanwhile, opposition parties and many social organizations have demanded accountability of the airport administration and the airline company. People say that such accidents can turn into major accidents in densely populated areas and strict action should be taken against the officials responsible for this. At the government level, the Civil Aviation Ministry has ordered a detailed investigation of the accident and instructions have been given to submit the report soon.
