Patna: Women and Child Development Corporation (WCDC), Bihar, has invited applications for several posts under Mission Shakti Yojana. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website of WCDC (wcdc.bihar.gov.in).

Application Date

The online application process started on June 26, 2025, and will continue till July 18, 2025, at 6 pm.

Number of posts

Under this recruitment drive, 77 posts will be filled in 11 newly established One Stop Centers.

Recruitment will be done on these posts.

The center is for the posts of administrator, case worker (reserved for women only), paralegal personnel/lawyer, paramedical personnel, psychosocial counselor, and office assistant.

Age Limit

For this contract-based recruitment, the age of the candidates will be calculated from the date of publication of the application, i.e., 26 June 2025. The maximum age limit of the candidates has been fixed according to the category in which they fall.

For unreserved men, the age limit is 37 years, while for unreserved women, this limit is 40 years. Men and women of Backward Classes (BC) and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) can also apply up to 40 years. At the same time, the maximum age limit for all candidates (male and female) of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) has been fixed at 42 years.

Educational Qualification and Experience

Center Administrator (Reserved for Women Only)

For this post, the candidate should have a postgraduate degree in law, social work, sociology, psychology, or social science. Along with this, at least 5 years of work experience in any government or non-government project related to women's issues is mandatory.

Case Worker (Reserved for Women Only)

The candidate should have a graduate degree in any of the above subjects. Also, a minimum of 3 years of work experience in schemes or projects related to women is required.
