New Delhi: Capital is expected to witness a hot and uncomfortable Tuesday, with the minimum temperature likely to remain around 34 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature expected to reach 41 degrees Celsius. The high temperature may keep the city under warm conditions through most parts of the day.
The mercury is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius during the day’s early hours before rising further as the afternoon progresses. Residents may feel the impact of dry heat, especially during outdoor movement and peak traffic hours.
As per the forecast details, the wind speed in Delhi is likely to remain around 6.98, while the wind direction may be close to 263 degrees. Gust speed is expected to be around 9.67. Although light wind movement may continue, it is unlikely to provide major relief from the heat.
The sunrise in Delhi was recorded at 05:24 AM on Tuesday, while sunset is expected at 07:22 PM. With long daylight hours and rising temperature, heat discomfort may remain high during the afternoon and early evening.
The seven-day weather outlook suggests that Delhi may see a steady rise in temperature over the coming days. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 41 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and may increase to 42 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.
By Friday, the temperature could touch 43 degrees Celsius. The heat may intensify further during the weekend, with the mercury expected to reach 45 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, the maximum temperature may stay close to 44 degrees Celsius.
