New Delhi: India’s young chess Grandmaster Divya Deshmukh was honoured with the prestigious ‘Young India Country Award 2025’ during Dynamite News’ 10th anniversary event. The award recognises her outstanding achievements in chess and her contribution to the nation. Divya expressed her happiness and said this honour motivates her to perform even better.

She thanked the entire Dynamite News team and the esteemed judges for the recognition. “My sincere thanks to Union Minister Piyush Goyal sir and Manoj Tibrewal Aakash sir. I also congratulate all the fellow awardees and thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for this honour,” she added.
Hailing from Jhajjar, Haryana, Divya has made her mark on the international stage at a young age.
