New Delhi: If you love to travel by train then we have a good news for you. Indian Railways and IRCTC have once again taken a major step keeping in mind the convenience of passengers. A new all-in-one mobile app named ‘RailOne’ has been launched here on Tuesday.
According to the information received by the Dynamite News correspondent, almost every major facilities related to rail travel have been made available on a single platform. The purpose of this app is to provide fast, simple and smart services to the passengers.
Ticket Booking And Train Status
Through the ‘RailOne’ app, passengers can now easily book from general reservation tickets to Tatkal and platform tickets. Apart from this, passengers can also immediately see information related to their journey such as live status of the train, PNR status and upcoming train schedule.
Ordering Food
A special feature in this app is that passengers will now be able to order food in the train while sitting on their seat. Through the app, passengers can book food from various restaurants, which will be delivered to their seat at the next station. This will eliminate the worry of food during the journey.
Tatkal Tickets Booking
The facility of Tatkal ticket booking has also been given special priority in ‘RailOne’. With the help of smart features like auto-fill, passengers can book Tatkal tickets in a few seconds. Also, to avoid long queues at the station, platform tickets can now also be booked through the app.
Facility To File Complaints
If passengers face any kind of problem during the journey, they can lodge a complaint directly from the app. This will help in resolving complaints more quickly and transparently. IRCTC claims that this facility will make customers more empowered and satisfied.
Smart Features
Several smart features have also been included in app, such as auto-fill, reminder notifications, list of favorite journeys and the facility to save frequently used passenger details. These features will improve the passenger experience and save time.
