New Delhi: In the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, while discussing the operational crisis at IndiGo Airlines, stated that any airline, regardless of its size, will be held accountable for passenger inconvenience. He informed the House that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued a show-cause notice to IndiGo. Strict action will be taken against the airline after its response is received.

Operations Gradually Returning to Normal

The Minister assured the House that IndiGo's operations are rapidly returning to normal. He stated that safety standards are being ensured and long-term measures are being taken to improve the airline's network. The situation is gradually stabilizing, and passengers are now receiving better services.

Ram Mohan Naidu said that the government is taking the passengers' difficulties seriously. He stated that IndiGo Airlines is being held accountable for its responsibilities. IndiGo Claims Improvement in Operations

The airline also stated that cancellations have been reduced and passengers were given prior notice of cancelled flights.
