New Delhi: Himayani Puri, the daughter of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking the removal of allegedly false and defamatory content being circulated against her on social media.
In her petition, she stated that certain individuals and entities are attempting to link her to the late American convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein—an association she asserts is entirely baseless, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Himayani Puri has appealed to the court to take action against the individuals involved in this matter and to award her damages amounting to ₹10 crore. She has also requested the court to restrain the concerned individuals and platforms from disseminating such posts, videos, or articles against her.
In her petition, Himayani Puri alleged that an organized and malicious campaign has been waged against her on social media since approximately February 22, 2026. During this period, numerous posts, videos, and articles were circulated across the internet attempting to link her to Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes.
This material was rapidly disseminated across various social media platforms, including X, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
The petition further notes that some posts claimed Himayani Puri—or her former firm, Realm Partners LLC—had received funding or financial benefits from Jeffrey Epstein or his associates. Himayani Puri has categorically termed all these allegations as completely false, malicious, and baseless.
Himayani Puri asserts that she is a professional in the finance and investment sector, and such allegations are causing severe damage to her reputation and career. She stated that she is being targeted solely because she is the daughter of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
The petition has been filed through Advocate Madhulika Ray Sharma. According to reports, this matter is likely to be heard in the Delhi High Court this week, where the court will determine what action should be taken against the content circulated on social media.
