According to the Meteorological Department, rain is likely at many places in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh today. A heavy rain warning has been issued for some areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh. Thunderstorms and lightning are also expected. No heavy rain is expected in the state from September 19 to 23.
