Heavy rains return to North and East India, IMD issues alerts for several states
Today's maximum temperature is expected to be 35°C and the minimum 25°C. Tomorrow, Friday, will also be cloudy, and there may be light rain. Saturday (September 20) will be partly cloudy, and the weather will remain clear until September 23.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is likely at many places in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh today. A heavy rain warning has been issued for some areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh. Thunderstorms and lightning are also expected. No heavy rain is expected in the state from September 19 to 23.
The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for several districts in Bihar today. Heavy rain is likely in Buxar, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Kaimur, Bhojpur, Madhubani, and Darbhanga.
