New Delhi: The military tension between India and Pakistan that has been going on for the last three days may now end as both the countries have agreed on a ceasefire. This has been confirmed by both India and Pakistan. This decision has brought relief to the people living near the border, as in the last few days drone and missile attacks were being carried out from both sides, which caused a lot of damage.
However, Pakistan broke the ceasefire with India in just four hours. On this, the central government has immediately ordered the BSF to give a strong and befitting reply, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
After India's Operation Sindoor, Pakistan attacked areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan with drones and missiles, but India's air defense system foiled these attacks. In response, India targeted several military bases of Pakistan - such as Rafiki, Chaklala, Rahimyar Khan, Murid, Sukkur and Chunia. Pakistan could not stop these attacks.
Drones have now become an important part of the war. Colonel Sophia Qureshi told in a press conference that Pakistan used 300 to 400 drones on the night of 8 and 9 May. The special thing about drones is that they are cheaper than fighter planes, but can prove to be just as dangerous. Also, they do not require a pilot to fly them, so there is no risk to life.
As far as the power of drones is concerned, according to media reports, India has advanced and a large number of drones. After the Balakot surgical strike, India had purchased drones from Israel on a large scale. According to defense experts, India has three drones for every Pakistani drone. India has deadly drones like Harop, Heron Mark-2, Sky-Striker, Harpy and Rustam. India destroyed Pakistan's HQ-9 air defense system with the help of Israeli Harpy drone.
Pakistan also has some advanced drones, like Shahpar-2, Shahpar-3, Akinci and its own made Rakh drone. Pakistan also used swarm drones in the attack on India.
According to a tech website, India has about 200 medium range drones and 800 small UAVs. Pakistan has 60 MALE drones, 60 Navy drones, 70 Air Force drones and 100 Army drones. However, these figures have not been officially released.
