Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has postponed the OMR-based written examination for the post of Junior Assistant, originally scheduled for April 5, 2026.
As per an official notification, the examination will now be conducted on April 19, 2026.

The recruitment process for the Junior Assistant post was announced under Notification No. 08 of 2025, dated September 27, 2025. The exam is part of the board’s ongoing efforts to fill vacancies in various departments across Jammu and Kashmir.
Candidates who have applied under this notification will now have additional time to prepare due to the revised schedule.
The board has confirmed that admit cards for the examination will be made available seven days prior to the revised exam date. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets starting April 13, 2026.
Applicants are advised to carefully check all details mentioned on the admit card once released and follow the instructions provided for the examination day.
