These newly registered voters became eligible after turning 18 by January 1, 2026, and applied for inclusion during the revision period.

A total of 13,51,151 applications were accepted for new voter registrations, while 1,59,111 applications from overseas voters were admitted. Additionally, 3,93,333 requests for corrections and updates in voter details were processed.
Authorities also removed 53,229 entries after verification to eliminate duplicate names and other ineligible records.
