Imphal: Three militants arrested during the last 24 hours. Manipur Police and security forces nabbed them in three separate operations, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Militant was nabbed from Wangjing SK Leikai under Thoubal PS, in Thoubal District. Manipur Police also arrested a militant from Kakching Phousupat Leikai area under Kakching-PS, Kakching District, Police said on Tuesday.
In yet another operation, Manipur Police arrested a militant from the Chingtham Pukhri Achouba area under Khongjom PS, in Thoubal District.
In an operation, three IEDs, four Crude Grenades were recovered along the track of Yangoubung to Lalim Lok River under Moreh-PS, in Tengnoupal District .
In another operation, one INSAS Rifle without magazine, DBBL, three SBBL, two grenades without detonators, and three 51 mm Mortar bombs with cover were recovered from Wangoo Naral Samtak Hill areas under Wangoo-PS in Kakching District.
Yesterday on 2 June Security forces arrested three militants from the Indo-Myanmar Border Pillar No. 87 under Tengnoupal-PS, Tengnoupal District during operations during the last 48 hours.
Police said that search operations and area domination were conducted by security forces in Imphal West and Churachandpur districts during the last 24 hours.

In an earlier incident yesterday nine militants were apprehended in separate incidents in Manipur.
Police said on Saturday that security forces arrested three militants from Leimapokpam under Nambol-PS, Bishnupur District. Two 9 mm pistols were recovered.
