New Delhi: As part of a milestone evening, marking the 10th anniversary of Dynamite News (DN), Indian shooting sensation Manu Bhaker was presented with the prestigious Young India Country Award 2025 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to sports and nation-building.
The event, held on 16 October at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi, brought together luminaries from politics, judiciary, media, and sport to celebrate a decade of fearless journalism and national innovation.

The grand “DN Jubilee Fest” commemorated a decade since the inception of Dynamite News in 2015. Crowned by the presence of dignitaries such as Piyush Goyal, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, Former Chief Justice of India, the event celebrated the channel’s journey from a fledgling digital news platform to one of the nation’s most influential media voices.

Bhaker received the “Young India Country Award”, which acknowledges individuals aged between 18 and 49 for their exceptional achievements and role in shaping India’s future. The 23-year-old was honoured with Rs 1 lakh, a shawl, and a memento in recognition of her remarkable achievements and her inspiring role in motivating the nation’s youth.

Since bursting onto the international stage as a teenager, Manu Bhaker has rewritten the record books and etched her name in Indian sporting history:
- First Indian female shooter to win an Olympic medal (bronze, 10m air pistol, 2024 Summer Olympics).
- First Indian shooter (male or female) to win two medals in a single Olympics (bronze in both individual and mixed events).
- Consistently ranked among the top shooters globally, with multiple medals at the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and World
- Youngest recipient of India’s highest sporting honour, the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna.
