Makhdumpur: Mohammad Noshad, who expressed happiness over the Pahalgam Attack on Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba on social media, has been arrested from Jharkhand, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Police arrested the accused from Makhdumpur in Bokaro on Wednesday. Mohammad Noshad, a 35-year-old, currently lives with his father and has received a degree by learning the Quran in a madrasa in Bihar.

He created social media accounts using a SIM card registered in his brother's name, who lives in Dubai.

While the whole country was mourning the death of the people who were brutally executed in the Pahalgam attack, he was congratulating the terrorists at night.

Naushad wrote on X (Twitter) in Urdu, 'Thank you Pakistan, thank you Lashkar-e-Taiba, may Allah keep you happy forever. Amen, Amen. We will be happier if RSS, BJP, Bajrang Dal and media are targeted.'

Along with this, he expressed his happiness with three smiley emojis. He also made many tweets after this, in which he wrote very repugnant and incendiary things.

Considering the seriousness and sensitivity of the case, SP Manoj Swargiari constituted an SIT under the leadership of Inspector Naveen Kumar Singh, including the technical cell.

The SIT arrested Naushad on Wednesday morning after an overnight effort. He is being questioned at the police station. The process of registering an FIR against him is underway. After this, he will be presented before the court.

Terrorists spread panic by firing on tourists in Bai Saran area near Pahalgam, a major tourist destination in the Kashmir Valley. Many people have been injured in the incident, who have been immediately admitted to the local hospital in Pahalgam. There have been 28 fatalities.

According to the information received from intelligence sources, the terrorists had planned the attack like the 26/11 Mumbai attack, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Their primary target was tourists, as they wanted to affect tourism in Jammu and Kashmir by targeting tourists.

The initial assessment by central agencies reveals that the attack occurred in a location with many tourists present, and security agencies were unaware of it.
