New Delhi/Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually participated in the ASEAN Summit on Sunday and addressed the summit. He emphasized that ASEAN countries are linked by shared values ​​and interests, and that the 21st century belongs to ASEAN countries.

PM Modi expressed his deepest condolences to the Royal Family and people of Thailand on behalf of the people of India on the passing of the Queen Mother of Thailand.

PM Modi emphasized that ASEAN is a key pillar of India’s Act East Policy. He said that India has always supported ASEAN’s centrality and ASEAN’s vision for the Indo-Pacific region.

He also pointed out that the India-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership continues to strengthen amid uncertain global circumstances and is becoming a foundation for global stability and growth.
