Mathura: President of India Droupadi Murmu on Saturday visited Mathura, where she offered prayers at the revered Danghati Temple and undertook the sacred Govardhan Parikrama.
During her visit, the President also paid obeisance at the holy Mansi Ganga lake. Marking the International Day of Forests, she planted a sapling as part of efforts to promote environmental awareness and conservation.
According to a post shared by Rashtrapati Bhavan on X, President Murmu performed darshan and aarti at the temple and completed the Govardhan Parikrama, combining spiritual devotion with a message of environmental responsibility.
