Senior IPS Officer Sanjay Singhal Appointed as New SSB Chief

Sanjay Singhal (IPS:1993), Special DG BSF, appointed as DG of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). He will take charge on or after Sept 1, 2025, succeeding Amrit Mohan Prasad (IPS:1989), retiring Aug 31. Tenure till Dec 31, 2028.

New Delhi: The Government of India has appointed Sanjay Singhal (IPS:1993), currently serving as Special Director General of BSF, as the next Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). He will assume charge on September 1, 2025, succeeding Amrit Mohan Prasad (IPS:1989), who retires on August 31, 2025.
