New Delhi: The Central Government has notification for the appointment of ten Judicial Officers and Advocates as Judges in the Delhi and Rajasthan High Courts. The names were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Three Judicial Officers who have been appointed as Judges of the Delhi High Court are Vinod Kumar, Shail Jain, and Madhu Jain, according to the official notification.
Advocate Sandeep Taneja has been appointed as a Judge of the Rajasthan High Court.
At the same time five advocates have been appointed as Additional Judges of the Rajasthan High Court. They are Baljinder Singh Sandhu, Bipin Gupta, Sanjeet Purohit, Ravi Chirania, and Anuroop Singhi.

In a significant move to strengthen the judiciary, the Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting held on July 1, 2025, approved the appointment of three judicial officers as judges of the Allahabad High Court. The decision aims to address vacancies and ensure smoother judicial functioning in one of India’s largest high courts.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court Collegium had recommended new judges for the Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Patna, Rajasthan, Guwahati, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Punjab, and Haryana High Courts to strengthen the judiciary.
The Collegium cleared the appointment of Tuhin Kumar Gedela, an advocate, and Sangeeta Sharma, a judicial officer, as judges of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Their elevation reflects the Collegium’s emphasis on bringing diverse legal expertise to the bench.
