The operation of the air-conditioned special train running between Mumbai Central-Banaras will start from September 17.

Bhadohi: With the aim of providing relief to the passengers during the festive season, the Railways has started the operation of festival special trains. Special trains are being operated on various rail sections. This time the department has decided to run a train on Varanasi-Janghai via Bhadohi rail section.

The operation of the air-conditioned special train running between Mumbai Central-Banaras will start from September 17. 09083 down special train from Mumbai Central will run on September 17 and 24, while in October it will run on October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.

Similarly, in the month of November, the train will run for the last time on November 5. Similarly, 09084 up special train from Banaras will run on September 19 and 26. In October it will be run on October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. It will depart from Banaras for the last time on November 7.

The train will depart from Mumbai at 11:10 pm while it will depart from Banaras at 2:10 pm. It will stop at Balsad, Surat, Vadodara, Godhra, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Etawah, Tundla, Shikohabad, Mainpuri, Bhogaon, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Pratapgarh, Janghai and Bhadohi.

Northern Railway's Senior Commercial Divisional Manager Kuldeep Tiwari said that this special train will have a total of 17 coaches including first class AC, second class AC, third class AC.

The passengers have welcomed this initiative of the railways. People say that the operation of Parv Special will reduce the pressure on routine trains.
