UP: 3 killed, 1 injured car collided with a bikein Ghazipur

Ghazipur: There was a fierce collision between an SUV car and a bike near the cut made near Rasulpur village on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur National Highway of City Kotwali.

The car first hit the bike and then the truck, due to which the bike rider, 70-year-old Chandrajyoti Pal, resident of Nasirpur village of City Kotwali, two-year-old granddaughter Asmita Pal and Chandrajyoti's sister's 30-year-old son Sanjeev Pal died.

At the same time, Kunti Pal, resident of Basuchak of Nandganj, was seriously injured. Police have taken the car driver into custody.

According to eyewitnesses, a young man, two women and a girl were riding on the bike. They were returning after visiting Vandevi of Mau. A high-speed SUV car coming towards Varanasi hit the bike near the cut made near Rasulpur village on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur four-lane.

After the collision, two people jumped and fell far away and started screaming. The bike got stuck in the front part of the car. After going about 100 meters ahead, the car collided with a truck, due to which the remaining two people riding the bike died. The car was completely damaged.

The car driver narrowly escaped. The police also reached immediately and sent all four to the District Hospital of Government Medical College for treatment. While three people died, Kunti Pal's condition remains critical.
