Ghazipur: A car and a bike collided near Belwa Rasoolpur Cotton Mill Tiraha in Jangipur police station area of Ghazipur. Bike riders Sanjit Pal (32), Chandra Jyoti (70) and Ashwin Pal (3) of Nasirpur in Kotwali police station area and Bansuchak Kunti Pal (35) of Rampur Manjha police station area were seriously injured. Chandra Jyoti was the mother of the SP leader.

According to the information, Sanjit Pal, a resident of Karni village in Phephana police station area of Ballia district, used to study while staying at his aunt's house in Nasirpur village of City Kotwali. In the morning, Sanjit had gone on a bike with his aunt Chandrajyoti Pal, resident of Nasipur, cousin Kunti Pal, resident of Basuchak and niece Asmita Pal for Vandevi Puja in Mau. All were returning from there.
Near the Nasirpur four-lane intersection of Jangipur police station, Chandrajyoti Pal and Kunti Pal got down from the bike and started crossing the four-lane on foot. At the same time, Sanjit was walking with Asmita sitting on the bike. As soon as they reached the middle of the road, Chandrajyoti Pal, bike rider Sanjit Pal and Asmita died due to the collision of a speeding car coming from Varanasi. Kunti Pal was seriously injured.
The car stopped after hitting a truck on the roadside at some distance. The villagers caught the driver and handed him over to the police. At the same time, the police took three bodies into custody and sent them to the mortuary. At the same time, Kunti Pal was brought to the Medical College Hospital for treatment. Where the doctors referred her to Varanasi Trauma Center.
Jangipur SHO Vivek Kumar Tiwari said that all three bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Legal action is being taken on the complaint of Jitendra Pal, son of the deceased Chandrajyoti Pal.
