Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has again invited online applications for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor in B.Ed. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the commission's website (www.upessc.up.gov.in).
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, this recruitment was first released in 2022, but after the court order, it has now been re-issued. Now only those candidates can apply who have valid educational qualifications as per NCTE till 31 August 2022.
Number of posts
107 posts of assistant professor in the B.Ed. subject will be recruited.
Application date
Candidates can apply online for this recruitment till 12 June 2025. The last date for submission of the application fee is 13 June 2025, while the last date for filling and submitting the application form completely has been fixed as 14 June 2025.
Eligibility
This time only those candidates can apply who have educational qualifications valid by NCERT till 31 August 2022. This means that only those candidates are allowed to apply who had fulfilled the required qualification till the earlier last date. This ensures that the selection is completely as per the rules and instructions of the court.

Amendment as per court order
After hearing the petition filed in Allahabad High Court, it was found that the educational qualification of the B.Ed subject in the earlier recruitment was not as per the standards of NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). On this basis, the court canceled the recruitment of 2022 and directed that the advertisement be issued again as per the qualifications. The commission has published this revised advertisement following the order of the Supreme Court.
