New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a new 22-member organisation team comprising senior RSS leaders to strengthen the party’s structure in key states ahead of upcoming Assembly elections. BJP President Nitin Nabin announced the appointments a day after naming state in-charges, with several important election-bound states receiving new organisational responsibilities.

The appointments highlight the continued coordination between the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in managing party organisational affairs.

Dharmapal Gets Uttar Pradesh Responsibility Ahead of Poll Battle

Election-bound Uttar Pradesh will be overseen from the RSS side by Dharmapal, who has been assigned the responsibility of strengthening the BJP’s organisational network in the state. The move comes as political preparations intensify in Uttar Pradesh, where the BJP is focusing on expanding its organisational reach ahead of the Assembly elections.

Manthri Srinivasulu Retained in Punjab, Chandigarh Also Under Charge

Manthri Srinivasulu has been retained as BJP state general secretary (organisation) for Punjab and will also look after Chandigarh. With Punjab and other states heading towards important political phases, organisational coordination remains a key focus for the party.

Shiv Prakash and Saudan Singh Get Multiple State Responsibilities

BJP National Joint General Secretary (Organisation) Shiv Prakash, who works alongside BJP organisation general secretary B.L. Santosh, has been assigned responsibilities for Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Goa.

Another BJP Joint General Secretary (Organisation), Saudan Singh, will oversee Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. Earlier, Saudan Singh was handling organisational responsibilities in northern states including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh.

Pawan Rana Assigned Haryana and Delhi Charge

RSS leader Pawan Rana, who previously served in Himachal Pradesh has been appointed as state general secretary (organisation) for Haryana and Delhi. The appointment comes as the BJP prepares its organisational framework across states with upcoming electoral challenges.

RSS-BJP Coordination Remains Central to Organisation Strategy

The new appointments include several senior RSS functionaries, reflecting the importance of organisational management within the BJP structure. The post of BJP general secretary (organisation), considered a key organisational role, is traditionally held by an RSS leader. Currently, B.L. Santosh holds the position and oversees coordination of party organisational activities.

In Himachal Pradesh, RSS veteran Siddarthan will continue to handle BJP organisational affairs.
