Baba Bageshwar stated that Premanand Maharaj is not ill, but rather, it's all a playful act. Maharaj responded with a smile and shared his profound understanding of his condition.
Premanand Maharaj explained that for him, kidney failure is no less than a spiritual practice. He stated that the power of God, or the remembrance of God, overcomes all obstacles. When his kidneys failed, he realized surrender, meaning he gave up his ego and surrendered.
He said that he no longer considered himself a worthy seeker because his body was no longer capable of that spiritual practice. From that moment on, he completely surrendered to God, and this became the reason for his "baddi" (deterioration), i.e., kidney failure, in many lives.
Premananda Maharaj said that now he wishes for his kidneys to fail in every life so that he can continue to devote himself to the devotion of his beloved, his beloved God.
He says that there is no greater benefit than immersing his mind in the devotion of God. He believes that true surrender and devotion occur only when a person realizes from within that he is no longer a worthy seeker.

Maharaj described his daily routine as serious and painful. He begins his daily routine at 1 a.m. and rests at 9 a.m. Even a healthy person would find it difficult to complete such a rigorous routine, but he considers it a blessing from God and continues to do so with complete dedication.
