Hyderabad: Kalvakuntla Kavitha, founder of Telangana Jagruthi and former Member of Parliament, has announced that she will launch her new political party on April 25 in Hyderabad, marking her formal entry into a new phase of state politics.

Speaking in Nizamabad on Friday, Kavitha revealed that she had already submitted an application to the Election Commission of India (ECI) a couple of months ago for registering her political outfit.

“As a Telangana adabidda (daughter of Telangana), I firmly believe that there is a need for a new and inclusive political force led by a woman to achieve ‘Sarvodaya Telangana’,” Kavitha said, emphasizing her vision of inclusive development and empowerment.

She further stated that the launch of her party would mark “the beginning of a new era in Telangana politics,” expressing confidence that the people of the state would support her initiative.

Dismissing speculation, Kavitha asserted that her party is not a “B-team” of any existing political formation and claimed that it has the potential to emerge as the number one party in Telangana in the future.

The announcement is expected to add a fresh dimension to the political landscape of Telangana, with observers closely watching how Kavitha’s new venture shapes up ahead of upcoming political contests.
