Ahemdabad: India’s opener KL Rahul resumed his innings in style on Day 2 of the first Test against the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium Ahemdabad. It took him just two deliveries to notch his first boundary of the day, signaling a confident start after remaining unbeaten on Day 1.

Rahul’s crisp strokeplay early in the innings not only steadied the Indian innings but also set the tone for the team as they aimed to erase the 41-run deficit from the West Indies’ first innings.

Known for his elegant timing and patience at the crease, Rahul is in complete control against the West Indies bowlers, finding gaps with ease and rotating the strike effectively with partner Shubman Gill.

KL Rahul and Shubman Gill remained unbeaten at stumps for India on Day 1 of the first Test against the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Thursday. India finished the day on 121/2, trailing the West Indies’ first innings total by 41 runs.

With both batsmen still at the crease, India is in a comfortable position to resume the innings on Day 2, looking to reduce the deficit and put pressure back on the visitors. The partnership between Rahul and Gill promises to be crucial in shaping the course of the Test match.
