IND vs UAE Match

India, one of the favourites to win the title this year, will be aiming to start with strong win against UAE. But as always in T20 cricket, underestimating the opposition can be risky, and aslo UAE will be looking to make the most of this big opportunity.

Group A Match

Both India and UAE are part of Group A in Asia Cup 2025. This is the first match of Group A, which will be played at Dubai International Stadium. Whichever team wins today at this ground will start the tournament with a win, which will be a big achievement, especially in a short format match where rhythm matters.

India vs UAE Head to Head Record

India and UAE have only played one T20 international against each other back in the 2016 Asia Cup where India won comfortably by 9 wickets. In one-day internationals, the teams have met three times, with India winning all three matches. Their last ODI encounter came during the 2015 World Cup.

India Needs to Stay Sharp

On paper, India is the stronger team, but cricket, especially in T20 format, doesn’t always be the same. UAE might not have the same star power, but teams always often play fearless cricket. A few quick wickets or a good powerplay can turn the match. India will need to stay focused, avoid taking things for granted.
