Former CJI HL Dattu takes charge as NHRC chief

  dynamitenews.com New Delhi / 1 March 2016. Former Chief Justice of India HL Dattu has taken charge as the new Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).    The previous NHRC Chairperson Justice KG Balakrishnan completed his tenure in May 2015 after which Commission Justice Cyriac Joseph was selected as acting Chairperson.

New Delhi / 1 March 2016. Former Chief Justice of India HL Dattu has taken charge as the new Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). 

 

The previous NHRC Chairperson Justice KG Balakrishnan completed his tenure in May 2015 after which Commission Justice Cyriac Joseph was selected as acting Chairperson.
