Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approves new manual for appointment of DGP

As per the new manual, DGP will be appointed only when there are at least 6 months left in the officer’s service. Read further on Dynamite News:

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved a new manual for appointment of the state DGP.

DGP will be appointed for at least 2 years. 

Nominating Committee
A Nominating Committee, headed by a retired High Court judge, will be constituted for the appointment of DGP. 

As per the new manual, DGP will be appointed only when there are at least 6 months left in the officer's service.
