New Delhi: Meta unveiled its new smart glasses, the Meta Ray-Ban Display, at the Meta Connect 2025 event. These glasses have become a hot topic among tech enthusiasts due to their unique features. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg also introduced several new products and technologies at the event.

Meta Ray-Ban Display: The New Era of Smart Glasses

Meta has introduced the Meta Ray-Ban Display, a new version of its popular Ray-Ban smart glasses. These glasses are equipped with AI technology and feature a full-color, high-resolution in-lens display. They are priced at approximately $799 (around Rs 70,229).

The glasses have a built-in 12-megapixel camera that allows users to read messages, make video calls, watch videos, and get walking directions. Users can also preview images.

Glasses Work with Meta Neural Band

The Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses work with the Meta Neural Band, a wearable device worn on the wrist. This band uses electromyography (EMG) technology, allowing users to control the glasses' features through hand movements.

Typing Feature Coming Soon

Mark Zuckerberg announced at the event that an upcoming update will allow users to type by moving their fingers in the air. This feature will offer users a new experience of digital typing without any physical keyboard.

Meta has also launched the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2), which does not feature a smart display. This model supports 3K Ultra HD video recording. It comes with a 'Conversation Focus' feature that reduces background noise during calls and enhances the clarity of the speaker's voice. It is priced at approximately $379 (around ₹33,295).
