Hyderabad: At least three persons are feared washed away in two separate incidents after falling into the overflowing nalas, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

In one incident two youths, who have been identified as Arjun and Rama, were washed away after they fell into the overflowing Afzalsagar nala in the morning. In another incident, a man went missing after falling into a nala in Musheerabad.

Three Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams have been deployed to locate the missing persons. Habeeb Nagar police station officials said that after heavy rain two persons Arjun and Rama swept away.

They said "Around 9 pm, after heavy rain, two people, Arjun (26) and Rama (25), were swept away in the rainwater. They have not been found yet. Three DRF teams are on the ground, but water flow in the area remains heavy."

Hyderabad Traffic Police deployed across the city to manage congestion, assist commuters.
