In a letter addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner and other senior officials, he claimed that individuals linked to a political party’s IT wing may have sought press accreditation through unofficial channels. According to the complaint, there are reports that some district authorities might have issued press passes to people who are not genuine media professionals.
