The Economic Survey 2020-21 tabled by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament on Friday said the country’s economy after being gradually unlocked since June 2020 has experienced a V-shaped recovery.

Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian today said he has not yet decided on the exact date of leaving the finance ministry, but it will be in a month or two.
Union Minister Arun Jaitley said today that Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian will be leaving the finance ministry because of “pressing family commitments” and will return to the US.
