East Coast Railways on Saturday announced that trains originating from Bhubaneshwar will run normally from May 5 after the services were suspended owing to cyclone ‘Fani.’
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday took to Twitter to inform that she has cancelled all her election rallies for the next two days in the wake of ‘impending’ Cyclone Fani in her home state.
Cyclone Fani, which is expected to make a landfall at the Odisha coast by Friday forenoon, was nearly 65 kilometres from Gopalpur and 80 kilometres from Puri at 5.30 am, the IMD said.

Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are expected to receive heavy rainfall from Sunday due to a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal which could transform into Cyclone Fani, the India Meteorological Department.
